Deuteron continues to expand its line of neural recording devices.
In early 2018 the SpikeLog-64 single board logger will be released. This will be a single-board 64-channel logger that will weigh just 4 grams. As well as providing 64 channels of neural logging, it will also log signals from its 9-axis motion sensor and its on-board wideband microphone, designed for recording animal calls and ambient sounds up to 80kHz.
The RatLog-128 will also be released in 2018. It will be fully compatible with all the headstages available for the RatLog-16 but it will be able to log 128 channels of neural signals. It too will have a 9-axis motion sensor. It will be well suited for experiments on rats and primates.
