Deuteron’s loggers are supplied as a kit. A single kit includes two base stations and accommodates four animals. A typical kit contains:
- Four neural loggers
- Two synchronizing radio transceivers
- Software for a Windows computer
- All required accessories
This provides all that is needed for two researchers to work at the same time, and to allow experiments that involve several animals.
Once a laboratory has a kit, additional loggers, transceivers and accessories can be added in any quantity. Since our systems are very small, we want to be sure that every laboratory has spare systems on hand.
